We are a family of 4 trying to navigate this world. Our two teens have Autism but to the outside world they seem typical (thanks to all the therapy and blood, sweat and tears we have put into helping them).
We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We share our views, however respect others as well.
We have been married since 2002 and what a journey it has been with our trials and ups and downs. I am pretty proud of what we have faced and survived.
I am a writer, reader, tutor and a most important a mother. I feel that being a mother overrides any of my other accomplishments in importance.
My husband works for our county. He enjoys the work and we feel he is there for a reason. He had another career and for reasons beyond his control was laid off and had to find other employment. He loved being a respiratory therapist, but there are far better benefits working with the county.
